EFT (Tapping)
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) combines ancient Chinese meridian principles and modern psychology techniques.
EFT, together with EFT Matrix Reimprinting, helps to release and transform negative memories and traumas, and negative emotions such as fear, guilt, shame, jealousy and anger.
It helps change unwanted habits, behaviours and limiting beliefs to more positive feelings of hope, happiness, gratitude, confidence and peace, enabling us to enhance our ability to love, succeed and enjoy life.
How does EFT work?
EFT is based upon the realisation that imbalances in the body’s energy system can have a deep effect on a person’s psychology. Feeling an unwanted negative emotion causes the energy flow in the meridian pathway to become disrupted.
EFT relieves symptoms by tapping specific meridian points as we tune into, or focus on the
issue. The tapping re-balances the energy in the meridians that has become
disrupted when thinking about, or experiencing, an emotionally disturbing circumstance. Once balanced, the
conflict is usually resolved - the memory remains, but the emotional charge has gone.
Imagine clearing a log that's blocking a stream,
the log represents the ‘stuck’ emotion in our energy stream (meridian).
This can reduce the therapeutic process from
many hours of lengthy sessions down to
hours or minutes.
And, since emotional stress is
invariably the root cause of limiting beliefs and behaviours,
EFT can help overcome most forms of fear and anxiety.
Important note: While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it. Further, Martin Adam is not a licensed health professional and offers EFT as a personal performance coach. Please consult qualified health practitioners regarding your use of EFT.
