Regression
We are all the sum total of our life experiences.
Imagine a new born baby's mind as a blank hard drive. From birth its mind is programmed by its 'parents'.
It doesn't know right or wrong, good or bad, stress, anxiety, guilt, anger, love, hate or any of the emotions that affect every day of our lives.
Nor does a new born baby believe it isn't good enough, or that the world is unsafe; all beliefs have to be learnt.
As we grow up we are influenced by our siblings, relatives, school and friends along with our parents. We are influenced by their ideas, beliefs and values.
As we move out more into the world,
we learn from our experiences as well. We learn about the way the world works and the consequences of our actions.
Some of our experiences we deem ‘good’, some ‘bad’. Our past experiences form a data bank from which we can learn.
It need not be a web in which we are caught. Our past experiences cannot be changed, but
our emotional reaction and any Limiting Beliefs that we learnt can be
changed.
To free ourselves from past negative influences we need to understand them.
Only in coming to terms with our past can we free ourselves from limiting beliefs and so build for ourselves the future that we would like.
Powerful techniques can be applied to recover forgotten memories, retrieve conscious or subconscious abilities and skills, reframe old experiences, and use those earlier capabilities in the present to resolve current problems. EFT, combined with Hypnotherapy often produces remarkable results.
We can also access incidents that we believe initiated particular present day concerns, so that
they are available to us for satisfactory resolution.
