Beliefs

'We don't see things as they are. We see things as we are'

Changing Limiting Beliefs

We start forming our beliefs, our own personal rules and regulations, from the day we are born.

Our main core beliefs are usually firmly established in our subconscious and conscious minds by the time we are 6 years old.

These beliefs shape our world, our place in it and our view of the world.

We naturally believe that our beliefs are 'fact', how things are and how they should be. We rarely question them.

Our positive beliefs are empowering, enhancing and promote our well-being.

The right beliefs will give us confidence, self-worth and courage to face whatever it is we have to face in life.

But limiting beliefs can seriously impede our emotional and physical wellbeing. Common limiting beliefs include:-

* I’m not important
* I’m not good enough
* People must think well of me
* I must be in control
* Relationships don’t work
* Fear of failure
* I can’t trust people
* I’m frightened of rejection
* Something bad will happen
* I'm not safe

By identifying and focusing on limiting beliefs, we can often reframe them with positive beliefs, greatly assisting our self-esteem and well-being.

Hypnotherapy, NLP, and EFT, often used in combination, can help us reframe our limiting beliefs without the need for lengthy and expensive Counselling.
